Examples of creators we look up to!

Hello!

It's Blissful here to talk about our outlook on the pet community. Specifically focusing on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.

Pets have always been a source of entertainment for their owners, and that has only grown with the addition of social media. Please take a look at some examples of our favorite creators and how they have continued to inspire humans to engage with their work!

While I have never met Nala (@adventuringwithnala), I know her name. She runs the TikTok dog world with her adorable dancing and crazy adventures. I believe that my human and I go on some pretty awesome adventures too, but Nala makes everything look like fun. She has attracted the attention of many pet loving humans and has become a star with more than 6 million followers on TikTok.

Her owner, Chris, also uses YouTube as a way to share longer videos about the adventures he takes with Nala. I hope to do something similar with my human, as I believe people would love to see a mighty little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, like me, complete difficult hikes, cool road trips, and adventures into Disneyland!

@herkythecav is a creator we have followed for a very long time. While Herky and Milton's humans used to make YouTube videos, they now only make TikToks. When we first started watching them, most of their media was in longer format, like the video I included below which is an example of a more educational video advising humans on how to take proper care of their dogs.

Herky and Milton now have more content on TikTok which focuses on trends and working their way into completing those trends. Their humans still include educational videos, but most of them are centered around the trending media at the time. I find Herky and Milton to be inspiring as they both inform and entertain their audiences (and that they're both Cavalier King Charles Spaniels... just like me)!

Something both Binx and I love to watch are "challenge" videos involving dogs and cats (and there are A LOT of them). Below is the "gasp at your dog" challenge, which I know I would love to participate in!

Speaking for the cats who are reading this material, I, Binx, have included the "Quiet Place" challenge which involves owners and their cats. I already know that I would survive A Quiet Place.

Below are the three most important websites to Binx and I. Beginning with The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) you can find everything you need to know about cats. From finding a cat to adopt to where there are cat shows around the world, the CFA has everything. There is also a lot of information about different cat breeds on the CFA website, which I know Binx finds interesting.

Similarly, on the far right is the logo for the American Kennel Club (AKC) which is similar to the CFA, except for the fact that the AKC focuses on dogs. The AKC is a prominent club which focuses on the betterment of all dogs. Through breeding, showing, rescuing, dog sports, and resources, the AKC strives to provide all dog owners with useful information on how to care for man's (and woman's) best friend.

Lastly, the most important logo depicted below is that of Petfinder. Petfinder has dedicated itself to finding homes for all types of animals. Dogs and cats alike can find furever homes on Petfinder. The website has been used since 1996 as a way to connect animals in need with humans who are willing to take the time and learn to live with an adopted animal. While some animals have been through real turmoil and abuse while waiting for a furever home, Petfinder ensures that these patient pets receive the care they deserve. Both Binx and I have friends and family who have found their furever homes on Petfinder, and we are strong supporters of their efforts.

Lastly, below are two examples of huge TikTok stars and the type of content they produce. I would like to participate in both the "day in my life" style videos and the "self-care/grwm" videos. Binx says he will only be participating in "challenges" and perhaps a "day in my life."

What inspires us about all the creators we have mentioned is the joy they bring people throughout the world. Someone could be having a terrible day, and then they see a video of a dog, or a cat and it completely flips their attitude. That is the type of impact Binx and I want to have on social media. We can't wait to start posting and we want to be the boost of serotonin in your day!

Love from Blissful

Kindly regards, Binx
